Garlic Festival Day 1: August 15th
Day 1 of our 2-day Garlic Festival.
Open Saturday, August 15th from 8am to 3pm.
Events Tent:
All-Day Activities
- Garlic Tasting & Garlic Shots!
- Garlic Raffle – win an amazing prize pack of local garlic, garlic products & garlic braid! Proceeds raised from the sale of our raffle tickets will go to the West Carleton Food Access Centre (winner will be announced Sunday Aug 16th at 3pm).
- Outdoor games for kids including corn hole & tic-tac-toe

- 10:00am-2:00pm: A Clove Affair: Cooking Demo with Chef Jesse Bell

- 8:30am: Best Garlic Booth Judging commences
- 9:00am: From Clove to Bulb: Garlic Growing Basics with Luke Sheldrick from Terramor Farm
- 10:30am: Twisting Tradition: Garlic Braiding with Catherine Cheff from Cheff Fields Farm
- 11:30am: Presentation of the Jim Craig Memorial Award for Best Garlic Booth
- 1:30pm: Let’s Get Twisted: Garlic Braiding with Evodie Smith from Paperboat Farms
KIDS CLUB:
All-Day Activities Both Days
- Outdoor games including corn hole, tic-tac-toe
- Face painting with Magick Moments
- Balloon animals with Ms Twisty
- Photo ops for the whole family
